MIGRATION IMPACT WITHIN THE EUROPEAN ADMINISTRATIVE SPACE

Summary/Abstract: The European Administrative Space (EAS) concept is causing lengthy debates in scientific, political and administrative contexts. Regarding this area, research does not focus on clarifying and analysing the characteristics of the European Administrative Space, but aims at searching this concept and demonstrating its existence.One of European Union concern is to establish that each national administration provides equivalent administrative capacity through public services quality and the professionalism of public officials. At the same time, European countries are characterized by a long and varied institutional history, with different paths in their evolution. For this reason, public administration structures and regulations vary from one Member State to another, and a selection of common principles can conduct them toward administrative convergence and performance.
