Summary/Abstract: Eminescu’s political thinking was expressed in dozens of articles, published in several newspapers and magazines. From Eminescu’s political writings it results: 1) accuracy, conscientiousness, correctness, patriotism and professionalism in the research of the described phenomena; 2) its relentless, risky controversies (some claim that they would have brought it to an end) made only in the service of the national interest; 3) its unitary conception of economics and politics, seen as an essential factor of economic and political prosperity and independence, a conception whose topicality is undeniable; 4) that his political analyzes are based on a thorough and deep knowledge of the economic, social and political life of his time.
