Summary/Abstract: Petru Groza remains a controversial personality even now at more than six decades after his death. His role in the establishing and consolidating of communism in Romania as a "fellow traveler" is well documented at this time. Our study aims to update this unfortunate contribution by using recently documents put in the research circuit. The author paid attention to the premises of Petru Groza's collaboration with the communists, to his activity as prime minister, but also to the actions that made him a notable figure in the gallery of Romanian politicians from the 20th century.
