Summary/Abstract: Ágnes Kali contributed as a dramaturge to the theatre performance directed by Radu Afrim, Amikor telihold ragyog a turkáló felett (When The Moon Shines On The Second Hand Shop), which had its premiere at the beginning of October 2020 at the Tamási Áron Theatre of Sfântu Gheorghe. Her essay follows the creation process of the performance, interrupted by the quarantine period due to the pandemic. It is not the first time for Kali to work with Afrim. Thus, the text presents the specific working method of the director and the way in which the structure of this performance is built starting from the strange characters and the sketchy dramaturgical situation. According to the author, the personality of the actors and their “language” becomes particularly important in the context of such an associative-improvisational working method.
