Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author deals with one of the most important American thinkers whose collected works appeared while he is still alive and not very old (born in 1949). His life and his thoughts are unusual for standard philosophers and thinkers. He combines natural sciences, philosophy, psychology, religion, politics, etc. as is implied in the title and subtitle of his wellknown book A Theory of Everything: An Integral Vision for Business, Politics, Science and Spirituality. As for religion, he is an adherent if syncretism claiming that all religions contain something truthful and all have the same source, which is reflected in the term religio perennis.
