Summary/Abstract: In this article, on the basis of materials of the State archive of the Mykolaiv area and some other published sources, the questions of origin, functioning and saving of provincial estates of the Mykolaiv area are considered. Estates located in different cities and villages of Ukraine represent unique values of Ukrainian culture. In modern Ukrainian science, noble estate researchers focus their attention on the identity of the homestead world, on the role of estates as centers of formation, development and preservation of dominant features of the country's culture. The main purpose of the study is to find out the peculiarities of formation and development of the provincial noble estate of Mykolaiv region in cultural and historical aspect on the example of the estates of Arkas, Erdeli and Skarzhinsky.
