Summary/Abstract: In this paper the dispositions of the Romanian law and of the European instruments regulating the recognition and execution of orders freezing property or evidence are examined. The present paper continues the research of forms of judiciary assistance in criminal matters in the European Union, research materialised through studies published in the volumes of some international conferences and Romanian legal journals that are indexed in some international databases recognised in the legal domain. The paper can be useful to practitioners, the empowered judiciary bodies, as well as to lawyers or law students. The elements of novelty consist in the examination of the manner in which Romanian judicial bodies recognise and execute or solicit the execution of orders freezing property and evidence during a criminal trial, through the prism of the latest modification and additions in the Romanian and European legal systems.
