Summary/Abstract: Can statism help with burning issues of the present time? The authors in the collection mostly answer affirmatively; in their view states can successfully deal with their cosmopolitan responsibilities. In the discussion, we question this optimistic assumption, and suggest the need for a more supra-statist, cosmopolitan arrangement for solving the issues.
