Affective mechanisms in choosing the subject of final studies

Summary/Abstract: Beyond a harmonization of the skills and the gained knowledge during the years of study, this text is a plea about how the student’s affective predilection for the topic of the final work of the bachelor and master degree becomes an attribute generating a valuable visual and theoretical research. In this context, we should recall theories related to the term of vocation but also to what is by “élan vital” meant, a term by which Henri Bergson explains the importance of an emotional approach through the energy tantamount to the flow of life, a celebration of intuition, versus the rigid deformations of reason
