Summary/Abstract: The article presents the history of the Logigan family, originating from the village of Logig, the Mureș county, Romania. Dimitrie Șt. Logigan was a significant member of this family, a professor of Romanian, German, Latin and Greek, and a high school principal in Câmpulung Moldovenesc. He has remained in history for his involvement in the national move ment that led to the Great Union in 1918, as well for the ordeals that he and his family went through during the Interwar period and afterwards.
