Summary/Abstract: The article reviews an exhibition of eighty-six photographs by B. H. Tyszkiewicz (1852-1935), a photo-amateur and Polish aristocrat, and sixty enlargements of the contemporary photographer J. Batho (born 1935). Dating from 1890-99, the photographs by Tyszkiewicz were taken at Czerwony Dwór and Wiała, estates belonging to the family of Tyszkiewicz in Lithuania and Belarus, as well as Zakopane, Nice, Pompeii and Rome. They are glued on forty-six loose pages of an album and belong to the Museum of Nicéphore Niépce in Chalon-sur-Saône (France). The exhibition was held in Vilnius (November 5 - December 5, 1999) and in Kaunas (January 21 - February 27, 2000). Digitalized and reedited material
