Summary/Abstract: During human evolution, violence has always been an integral part of individual and collective human behavior, as a result of the need to occupy new territories with their resources, but which could only be obtained through conflict. Following the conflicts, the victorious state proceeded to use violence and atrocities, which proved to be even more monstrous in the twentieth century. Under these conditions, the need to establish a defense mechanism was imposed worldwide, which led to the emergence of international crime, within a true international criminal law. In this study, we aimed to present important aspects of international crimes and their main constituent elements, which underlie international criminal liability.
