Summary/Abstract: Perfection is a very important area in professional work. Developing acquired skills and knowledge is relevant so that an employee could not only fulfil the tasks correctly, but also acquire professional competences. Perfection in professional teachers’ work is extremely significant. This is not only a basic task resulting from the educational regulations, but also the necessity to follow the changes in the fast developing world. Professional perfection is extremely meaningful in SEN teachers’ work. This group of teachers works with handicapped people and therefore they have to tackle the challenge. The study concerns the professional perfection topic and SEN teachers’ tasks. Moreover, the study presents regulations concerning professional perfection of teachers and the issue of professional perfection in SEN teachers’ work.
