ONE-TO-ONE ROMANIAN FOR FOREIGNERS LANGUAGE CLASSES: EMPIRICAL DATA

Summary/Abstract: This article aims at presenting empirical data concerning the one-to-one courses of Romanian for foreigners that the author has been teaching for the last nineteen years. These courses have been organised within private training companies and have been designed exclusively for adults. Unlike the foreign languages courses for groups, the one-to-one classes have not drawn the attention of researchers or even market specialists, so the literature related to this particular framework for language learning is more than scarce. That is why the results of the study will be laid out in contrast with the ones available for group courses.
