Senj’s dialect is, like the dialect of the administrative and cultural centre of this area, had a certain influence on the dialect of Sveti Juraj, and so even today there are some Chakavian elements in it. In the paper, the most important phonological and morphological traits of the dialect of Sveti Juraj are represented and the lexis of this Shtokavian dialect is especially considered.
