Summary/Abstract: This paper studies the articulation between the R&D spillovers and the economic performance via the use of two indicators: the total factor productivity and the export market shares, while treating the specific case of the R&D spillovers conveyed through the equipment goods import and its impact on these two indicators. We will try to bring some theoretical lighting, on the one hand, the relation of the R&D spillovers and the total factor productivity, and on the other hand, the bond between the R&D spillovers and export market shares. Our empirical study is based on an empirical validation of theoretical pre-discussed exhibition on Tunisia which we try to examine the relationship between externalities of R&D and the two aforementioned indicators of economic performance
