Summary/Abstract: Twenty-seven years ago the editors of London's Survey published the results of an enormously stimulating questionnaire, which they distributed among the leading specialists in international and Soviet affairs. The occasion was the tenth anniversary of Stalin's death and the questions ranged from the overall assessment of Soviet developments since 1953 to the very specific issues of ideological, diplomatic, economic, and cultural change.
