Migration in Contemporary Security Environment

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to explore in which cases migration can justifiably be considered as a security problem, then which implications in terms of the law, policies, and procedures labeling of migration as a security threat has. At that way, we analyse how the Balkans and European countries deal with migration. A special focus is on researching the connection among migration, organized crime, and terrorism.
