Summary/Abstract: Tache de catifea (Velvet Tache) by Ştefan Agopian is a polyphonic novel in which memory and history are constantly redefined by a polyphony of narrative voices that build a universe in which time and space are rethought. The paper aims to analyze the mechanisms of the construction of the fictional universe, focusing on the polyphony of narrative voices, changing the perspective on history and memory, as well as analyzing the identity marks of Ștefan Agopian’s writing.
