Summary/Abstract: One of the most significant dates in the rich cultural and historical past of Koraj is the establishment of a public space with a library, immediately after the World War I, at the end of 1919. In time, the public space will become a cultural and educational institution of crucial importance and influence on local gathering and socializing. political activity, education and cultural and educational uplift of the inhabitants of Koraj and its surroundings, and especially the young generations. From such an environment will grow a cultural and artistic society, football club, youth reading room, home courses and literacy of locals, the Scholarship Fund and the place where the ideas for organizing actions for renovation, communal modernization and arrangement of settlements came from.
