Summary/Abstract: Over the last few years, migratory processes have been tangible to the demographic and economic development of the European Union and Bulgaria in particular. The main problems faced by the country are the integration of migrants into the economy. The text presents two cases from the recent past of the relations of the People’s Republic of Bulgaria with labor migrants from Vietnam and Nicaragua.
