Axiology of coronavirus antiproverbs

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes modern Czech proverbs that characterize the latest dramatic phenomenon of human life – the coronavirus pandemic and quarantine. Czech people spreach reacts to this phenomenon with jokingly ironic antiproverbs, which become a kind of paremiological vaccine against Covid-19. For all the originality of such transformations, most of them are created on the basis of the Slavic and European paremiological fund. The article identifies the sources of coronavirus paremias, suggests their frequency, areal and axiological classification.
