Summary/Abstract: The 10th edition of the International University of Human Rights, organized by the Romanian Institute for Human Rights in collaboration with the Romanian Association for the United Nations and the Club of Cheia “Victor Dan Zlătescu” took place at the resort of Cheia in the period 5-11 September. This jubilee edition was devoted to specific issues related to the end of the transition period concerning the harmonization of the Romanian legislation and institutions with the international standards for the protection and promotion of human rights, as well as the end of the UN Decade on Human Rights Education. The participants included representatives of Parliament, governmental bodies with specific powers in the field of human rights, the civil society, magistrates, notaries, lawyers, university professors, researchers.
