ABOUT PRIVILEGED WILLS (PART I)

Summary/Abstract: The privileged wills are those that can be made in the hypothetis in which the testator is in an exceptional situation and can not use the ordinary will, according to common law. For those exceptional situations the legislator provided the possibility to test in a simplified form, according to some special rules, which derogates from common law. In the first part of the study we analyzed the notion and the regulation of the privileged wills and then we analyzed the will made in case of epdemics, catastrophes, war and other exceptional circumstances and the will made on board of a ship or aircraft, each with the special rules applicable.
