Summary/Abstract: Though there are already some good journals that carry articles on Eastern Europe, we believe that a journal devoted entirely to publishing high quality research and thinking about important social, political, and economic issues in this part of the world would be welcomed by area specialists and could also attract interest from other social analysts.
