Summary/Abstract: In this chapter from the book Crip Times: Disability, Globalization, and Resistance (New York: New York University Press, 2018), McRuer examines practices of crip resistance, both from a theoretical perspective (conceptualisations of resistance in queer theory and disability studies), and in a practical sense (analysing crip strategies of resistance developed by the disability community and by activists in Greece, the US, UK, Spain and Chile).
