What Do You Know about My Vehicle? Protection of Personal Data and Cyber Security in the Context of Autonomous Vehicles

Summary/Abstract: The authors focus on selected issues of data flow in the context of autonomous vehicles. The first parts of the paper gradually introduce the basic concepts of the issue and outline the legislation. Subsequently, the interferences with the legal regulation of cyber security and personal data protection are highlighted. Special emphasis is placed on the issue of personal scope and related liability in the field of personal data protection among the various actors in the processing of personal data in an autonomous vehicle.
