Summary/Abstract: The text develops an analytical analogy between the global influenza pandemic (influenza) and the „information pandemic“ of influencers generating the dominant media content. It examines the extent to which this controversial authority in the modern media environment predetermines the „death of the author“ of compositionally and semantically complex texts.
