A Probe into the Souls of Black Barons, or the Auxiliary Technical Regiments in the Memories of Contemporary Witnesses

Summary/Abstract: In my study I deal with the reasons of the creation of the Auxilliary TechnicalBattalions, the legal aspects of their establishment, the composition of these units andtheir command corps.  Furthermore, their workload, working conditions of membersand their economic contribution for the state. The circumstances of their abolishmentand sanctions of former members untill the rehabilitation of these people in thedemocratic state are discussed as well. The study is enriched by authentic remarks offormer „PTPs“, by which I wanted to partially distinguish from the mere factualdescription of the Auxilliary Technical Battlions and enrich this part of history withmemories of specific people (so, how was the situation perceived by those who servedor were influenced by PTP and by those who co – created these units.
