Summary/Abstract: Constantin Prezan was one of the artisans building of unified Romania by the Romanian army in the war during 1916–1920, against the Central Powers troops, Russian and Ukrainian Bolshevik forces, in the fight against the Hungarian army units engaged to Transylvania unified with the Country. Commander of the army, armed group and chief of Romanian General Staff, General Constantin Prezan has proved its qualities of planner, organizer and leader of all types of activities, actions and military operations at the strategic level. The name of General Constantin Prezan remain linked with Northern Army victories in the Eastern Carpathians, the Battle of the Neajlov-Argeş, removal and reorganization of the army in Moldova, Mărăşti, Oituz and Mărăşeşti victories, operations to restore order in Bessarabia, Bukovina and Pocuţia, operations and fighting in Transylvania and Hungary in 1919. Then in the years that followed, his merits were recognized by contemporaries, and the Marshal rank was granted in recogni tion of his merits in the Romanian Unification War.
