Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the use of canonical visitations to research the history of thePrzemyśl Diocese of the Uniate Church in the 18th century, documentation of which iskept in The Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv. The Author presents the tradition of canonical visitations in the Uniate Church and analyses of unknown sources showing territorial the structures of the diocese of Przemyśl. New sources allow for the partialor full reconstruction in of the territorial coverage of the deaneries of Dobromil, Żukotyn,Stara Sól, Muszyna, Stary Sambor, Mokrzany, Mościska, Gródek, Bircza, Przemyśl, that is10 of 31 deaneries of the Przemyśl diocese.
