Elena-Mihaela Prisacariu: Religious life in Comanesti. Orthodox parishes (30s - 40s of the twentieth century)

Summary/Abstract: No matter of the geographical are or the historical time, the religion had a big influence on the history. In this case, the base of the religious life in the Comăneşti town will be described by using documents from the archive of Saint Spiridon, Lăloaia and Leorda churches. Basically the religious aspects are offered by the correspondence between the priests of the parishes and different institutions: Ministerul Cultelor, Patriarhia Română (after 1925), Prefectura Bacău, Primăria Comăneşti, Episcopia Romanului, Protoieria Trotuş, some of the schools from Comăneşti town and the representatives of the constabulary, the police or the economical institutions from this area (Centrul Carbonifer).
