Summary/Abstract: The following article will show image of a women in the weekly „Walczymy o Stal” (We Fight for Steel). Author has analysed the content of the periodicl published between 1953 – 1956. To further explore the collected material on woman in the factory press author has presented a different time frames (1951 – 1956). The results of the analysis showed the following model of a women in the 1950s: labor leaders, exceeding the norms, participating in competition for the Party and the establishment.
