INNOVATIONS IN THE STUDY ROOM AND THE DIGITALIZED ARCHIVAL DOCUMENT AS A HELP FOR STUDENTS

Summary/Abstract: Purpose: Innovations in the Study Hall and the Digitized Archival Document as an Assistant for Researchers, aims to show the changes that the Study Hall has undergone as a result of the digitalization of the archival document. Also, this paper aims to highlight the impact it has had the process of online service in the hall for researchers and to present a statistical analysis on storage units that have been served digitized to researchers during this period. Research Methods: This study is based on the Study Hall and Library regulations as well as the annual analysis of the Sector of Study Hall and Library. The data are taken out from the daily orders for the service of the storage units in the Study Room. Based on these orders are calculated the total amount of digitized storage units served for one year and a half and so far, the total number of researchers. Results: This study is of interest as it sheds light on improving the service for researchers by extending the duration of this service in the hall, giving study opportunities to those researchers who do not have the opportunity to study due to commitments during the official working day. The digitalization of documents has facilitated the process of utilization of archival documents. Moreover, it has been provided a virtual connection between the researchers with the digitized archival document. Due to this result, the number of researches has increased. Digitalization has helped to have fruitful cooperation between representatives of various institutions.
