Medial and digital competence of students of German philology as the basis for developing the translational competence of future translators

Summary/Abstract: The digital competence is one of the key competences. It is also very important in the education. The author of the article describes digital skills of the German language students who are training to become translators within the context of the EMT competence framework. The most important of the competence is the use of technology. This competence includes the entire knowledge and all of the skills used to implement present and future translation technologies within the translation process.
