Summary/Abstract: In the presented article, the authors focus on the issues of critical thinking and the opportunities of its development in vocational schools. They carried out a questionnaire survey focusing on teachers’ attitudes towards the importance of critical thinking and the application of various innovative methods for its development in vocational schools. The research sample consisted of 81 vocational school teachers and the key findings indicate that the participants are aware of the importance of developing the ability of critical thinking in their students and are open for taking part in further education activities in this field.
