NAČINI SMANJENJA POTROŠNJE ELEKTRIČNE ENERGIJE TRAMVAJSKOG SAOBRAĆAJA
WAYS TO REDUCE ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION OF TRAM TRAFFIC

Summary/Abstract: Electrical efficiency and savings of energy are the topics of interest for electrical engineers in the world today. Public transport, which is the primary mode of transport in all the world's capitals, tends to modernize and electrify. Tram traffic is one of the oldest types of public electric types of transport. Unfortunately, the topics of efficiency and optimization of electricity consumption have not been analyzed in detail, and economy savings that could be achieved with improvement of tram traffic are not considered enough. In this paper some basic problem settings are given, factors that influence electricity consumption, ways to reduce that consumption, during the design phase and reconstruction phase of tram traffic.
