Summary/Abstract: To avoid the gaps in the field of denomination and simultaneously to provide the communication needs, any specialist language offers neology strategies range—more or less systematic in relation to the general language — and can therefore borrow from foreign languages, overload semantically other words already functioning in the lexicon, or form new words by recombining the appropriate linguistic elements. The objective of this paper is to analyze the mechanism of morphological derivation within the French terminology in the field of individual retirement plans and, in particular, to list a number of affixes regularly participating in the formation of terms in this lexicon.
