It is not astonishing that he chose to musically comment the works of the most well-known poets, with an incredible adaptation capacity to any stylistic particularity or literary content. Along with his creation, the lied will become the perfect merger of poetry and music, addressing the most diverse topics and attaining new expressive aspects. Schubert’s model, of outstanding stylistic art, will become an inexhaustible source of inspiration for future generations of composers.
