Summary/Abstract: I bring to your attention a sad story! The story of a man, Nicolae Olaru, who, like otherhundreds of thousands of Bessarabians, became a victim of the Soviet regime, being deported in 1949to Tiumeni. It came in 1956. The "Thaw" of the Khrushchev brought also the partial rehabilitation ofNicolae Olaru, and the return home. On February 18, 1991, the presidency of the Supreme Court ofthe SSM, comprising, by the way, the subsequent president of the country Nicolae Timofti, decided tocancel the convictions of the Olaru family and the rayon council Donduseni received instructions toreturn the confiscated property, but not until today the wealth has not been returned.
