Summary/Abstract: Marseille, a port city since 600 B.C., has offered over the centuries refuge to immigrants coming from Italy, North Africa, etc. However, it is by the middle of the 19th century that the waves of migration are becoming more intensive. Among these waves, one can find the internal migration of Corsicans to the continent, especially to Marseille. Our analysis of two videos filmed forty years ago, which is based on lexical, semantic and argumentative parameters, shows how this internal migration is presented as an enhancement of Corsican identity.
