Forms of defence training and exercises of the Polish Armed Forces

Summary/Abstract: The paper makes an attempt to establish the possible links between defence training schemes launched by Poland’s state authorities, as well as the local and regional authorities, and the training of the Polish Armed Forces. Based on legal foundations, it outlines the forms and planning principles of defence training schemes, followed by an insight into the typology and principles of programming the main forms of training of the Polish Armed Forces, i.e. military exercises. The summary of the paper points to the prospects of combining various forms of defence training schemes with the military exercises that are offered.
