Summary/Abstract: The control of the activity of the public administration in Spain is done in different ways. One of them is monitoring public administration activities by judges and courts. The public administration also has to comply with the laws in its actions. Actually, this is a consequence of its subjection to law and the right provided for in art. 103 p. 1 of the Spanish Constitution of 1978. However, this was not always the case, and the introduction of the judicial control of administration in Spain was preceded by a long historical process. This paper aims to present the judicial control of the administrative activity in Spain, as well as problems that it faces at the moment.
