Simplifications in administrative proceedings from the perspective of the 60th anniversary of the Code of Administrative Procedure

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper was to reflect on the essence and significance of simplifications existing in administrative proceedings. Recognizing the need for further simplification of the administrative procedure, its possible areas have been indicated, which include the application of the effects of technological progress both as part of the authority’s communication with the parties and making decisions, as well as extending the simplifications of special administrative procedures. This mode should be applied as soon as possible. The use of simplifications should not violate the rule of law determining the activities of public administration and the pursuit of the truth. In order to achieve a high level of efficiency of administrative proceedings, the professionalism of the employees of the authorities applying procedural rules in practice plays a significant role.
