Summary/Abstract: The subject of the research is the study of traditional singing by members of the female singing group KUD Milenko Đukić Čiko, who moved from Sarajevo Field to Bijeljina, a small town in the area of Semberija in Republika Srpska, due to war events in BiH in the 1990s. The aim of the research is aimed at considering the meaning of their singing performance in the home space, as well as in the contemporary social context. The perception of such a conceived task was achieved by using the theoretical model of Timothy Rice based on a three-dimensional framework when they consist of: time, place and metaphor. Observation of the set coordinates shows how they were shaped by the members of KUD Milenko Đukić Čiko and articulated in the form of verbal statements.
