Summary/Abstract: The current article analyses the role of the natural environment in the emergence and evolution of the legal norms. The environment represents a complex factor which influences the human socio-economic and political activities and behaviours, who in their turn, find their regulation in legal norms. The role of this factor should not be exaggerated, but neither should it be ridiculed because it exerts influence on the legislative activity, just as legal norms exert an influence on its existence and evolution, as we will show in the study.
