Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyze the process of the self-government campaigns professionalization in Poland. On the basis of the analysis we could see three processes of campaign professionalization before the 2006 self-government elections: using of political marketing tools, methods and conceptions, medialization of the self-government campaigns, personalization of the campaign appeal. These process are running on the parliamentary and presidency elections, but mainly also on the self- -government campaigns (local, regional elections). Author also showed in this situation is the most importing process of the personalization. Professionalization concerns on a communications (advertises and public relations).
