Summary/Abstract: The author considers that mankind experiences a historical reincarnation in modern times when a transition from one world to another is accomplished – being at the bounds between those two worlds. As it is with the individual consciousness when the individual transits from one age to another or from one world outlook to another and a mental crisis occurs – the same happens with collective consciousness when it transits from one culture to another. The more significant features of the crisis of the collective consciousness which have become characteristic of our time are: relativism and skepticism; helplessness and instability of the individual; hightened emotionality at the expense of thought; propensity to extremes; loss of patience. That crisis is not superficial and limited, nor does it result in amendments or additions to the old, but to the birth of something new. Its end is not close – beyond the economic and financial structure of the world it leads towards a new life, a new spirit and a new man.
