Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is the occurrence of derivatives in the language of Polish Internetusers with the suffix -aga, e.g. bystrzaga, dziabaga, mordziaga. The material, which isthe basis of the analysis, constitutes about 60 words, excerpted from Internet forums andblogs. The creation of such derivatives is a manifestation of the aspiration of languageusers to renew their expressive lexis. The presence of a formation with this suffix in colloquiallanguage may be the result of the influence of Polish local dialects.
