Some notes on the issue of adaptation in children´s literature

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with adaptation as a functional term in children’s literature, particularly the understanding of adaptation from the viewpoint of contemporary trends. This paper specifically deals with questions related to the contemporary definition of adaptation, its place in literature for children, its authors, as well as the resulting work. All these questions are influenced by many factors (age, kitsch) concerning not only art but also contemporary child characters. This paper is aims to be a motivation for further study of the above-mentioned problems.
